BCAAs

BCAAs are Branch Chain Amino Acids, they're a 2:1:1 ratio of Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine.

Leucine is suspected of being the only amino acid to stimulates muscle growth while helping reduce muscle loss in old age.

Isoleucine can help with endurance while assisting with muscle repair and rebuilding.

Valine can enhance energy levels while increasing endurance, and aiding with muscle tissue recovery and repair.

I've currently got MyProteins Cola, Bulk Powders Lemon & Lime and The Protein Works Tropical Punch and they're all so nice. I can't wait to get a load of ice, fresh fruit and mix it up with the tropical punch into one tasty mock tail.

BCAA Mango Sortbet

"Made with just 4 ingredients, this delicious BCAA mango sorbet is bursting with fruity flavour, making it the tastiest way to stay topped up on your essential amino acids (and cool down post-workout)." Lauren Dawes

It's going to be a hot day today so here's a nice cooling recipe to cool down your weekend.

BCAA Paper Cup Ice Lollies

"Boost your BCAAs in the most refreshing way with these tasty BCAA ice lollies. No fancy equipment needed – all you’ll need are a few humble paper cups and sticks to make your very own healthy frozen treats.

The best thing about DIY ice lollies is that you get to control what goes inside. Try your favourite BCAA or protein powder, blended with a little milk or yoghurt and fruit to make up your perfect pop." Jennifer Blow
