Pre-Natal Exercise

There are so many benefits to exercising during pregnancy.

  • improved circulation

  • reduced swelling

  • reduced risk of low back pain just to name a few

 

Exercising during pregnancy is also very challenging so listening to your body is key. Knowing when and how to adapt exercises to match the physiological and biomechanical changes for each trimester is essential.

Pre-Natal Home Workout Plan

ARRIVING IN 2025

I am currently putting the finishing touches on a Pre-Natal Home Workout Plan which will be delivered on My PT Hub. This will include the appropriate adaptations for each trimester with hints and tips about what to look for during your workouts.

Post-Natal Exercise

There are many benefits of getting back into exercise post-natal.

  • improved posture

  • reduced anxiety

  • increased stamina to name a few.

Exercise can begin 6 weeks post vaginal birth and 12 weeks after a caesarean. Ask your GP for clearance to exercise at your 6-8 week Post-Natal check.

Mum & Baby Group Class

ARRIVING IN 2025

​

My Mum & Baby Group Class will be -

  • Mondays at 10:30 am

  • 45 minute class

  • A 6 week block

  • A maximum of 5 Mum's per group

  • £30​

​

In your first session I will check you for diastasis (separation of the abdominals). The sessions will focus on body weight, core and postural exercises. Working towards resistance training by holding your baby for the exercises.

Sessions available to book are -

 

Block 1 - WC  20th Jan to WC 24th Feb

​

Block 2 - WC 3rd March to 7th April

​
