This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used by Adam Fretwell Personal Trainer. What type of information do I collect?

I collect your first name, surname, email address, mobile phone number, emergency contact details, health and fitness related data. This Is split between electronic and paper files: -

Electronic – first name, surname, email address and mobile phone number.

Paper – first name, surname, email address and mobile phone number, emergency contact details, health and fitness related data.

How do I collect information?

I collect information in a variety of ways:

1) Via the Newsletter sign-up on the Newsletter page of www.adamfretwellpt.co.uk . First name, surname and e-mail addresses are collected on submission of voluntary sign-up and stored securely on mailchimp.com

2) Your Name and Mobile Phone Number or Email Address when you contact me from the Contact page of www.adamfretwellpt.co.uk

3) Personal Health Information on paper PAR-Q forms and Informed Consent is stored in a locked filing cabinet and is never put into a digital format.

I do not collect information from visitors to my website.

Why do I collect such personal information?

I collect such non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the service requested by you from me as a Personal Trainer;

To provide my clients with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

To be able to contact my clients with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

I collect your first name, surname, mobile phone number and email address in order to:

To send a regular newsletter (only to those subscribed) regarding the group exercise session timetable, special offers, walks, and fitness family days out.

To book your personal training sessions.

or to answer any questions you may have for me regarding your health and fitness.

• Not to use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.

• Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.

• Honour opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.

How do I store, use, share and disclose my site visitors' personal information?

My business is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to advertise my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Your Name and Email Address are stored by MailChimp from the voluntary sign-up Newsletter page.

Your Name and Mobile Number are stored on my phone with a fingerprint lock.

How do I store, use, share and disclose my clients’ personal information provided in paper form?

Your Health and Fitness Personal Information is stored in paper form, kept in a locked filing cabinet.

Your information is used by me to provide the service you have paid for, with Personal Training Sessions, Group Exercise Sessions, Newsletter information, and general health and fitness advice.

None of your information is shared to 3rd parties.

How do I communicate with my site visitors?

I may contact you to notify you regarding your training sessions, to answer any queries you raise, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about my business, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our trainer/client agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement I may have with you. For these purposes I may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

In order to help make my PR and social media engaging for our fans, I have been making increased use of photographs from fitness sessions. Whilst I make every effort to ensure that all photos used are appropriate for purpose and the people in them look their very best, I am aware that some individuals may wish for their picture not to be appear online. I would like to kindly remind you that on the group exercise sign in sheet it states photographs maybe taken during sessions. If there is a picture used in my PR which you would like removed, please email adam.fretwellpt@gmail.com and I will have the photo taken offline as soon as possible.
